Adam served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including two deployments to Iraq, then spent more than a decade in public service dedicated specifically to veterans: running operations and funding campaigns for a nonprofit in Boulder, Colorado, five years processing VA healthcare reimbursement claims, and Veterans Service Officer roles for the State of Colorado and Boulder County, where he personally oversaw a $10,000 emergency fund for veterans in crisis. That work meant handling HIPAA-governed medical records and sensitive financial details every day, and discretion was never optional. What a veteran told him stayed between them, and that same standard still guides how he handles every client's information today.

Most recently, while supporting veterans in the Camp Lejeune water contamination litigation, one thing became clear: AI could have helped enormously with intake, research, and applying federal and state law to a case. Adam believes AI should be a tool that elevates employees and business owners, not one that replaces them, and used correctly, the possibilities are remarkable. He's been using AI since it first became publicly available and recently completed formal training in full-stack development. Clients notice the same thing quickly: he's a fast learner, he doesn't stop until he's found the actual answer, and once he takes on a problem, he stays on it, whether the engagement is a two-day workshop or a multi-week integration.

Lauren Pembo is Sutton A.I.'s Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, bringing nearly two decades of executive leadership and operations experience from highly regulated industries where precision and accountability were non-negotiable. Before co-founding Sutton A.I., she served as Chief Operating Officer for two nationally recognized law firms, where she directed firm operations, human resources, vendor management, contract negotiations, and strategic planning, building standardized procedures and training programs that strengthened efficiency across each organization.

That same approach shapes how she works with clients today.
